Wyda Laterrell Barnes

Wyda Barnes Leicester - Wyda LaTerrell Barnes, 37, of 73 Green Acres Drive died Thursday December 22, 2001 at Memorial Mission Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe county, she was a graduate of A.C. Reynolds High School. She was a daughter of Veron Hubner of Leicester and the late Howard Barnes. Surviving in addition to her mother are her sister, Tracy Prevatte and husband Robert of Asheville; brother, Michael Reid and wife Jamie of Fayetteville; paternal grandmother, Helen Barnes of Leicester; Fianc, Nathanial Garden of Asheville; nieces, Connie and Bristin; nephews, Robbie, K.C., Avery and Brendan; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Church of God of Prophecy on Leicester Hwy. with Pastor Gary Clements officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 P.M. Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
