Wilma Silvers Covert

Siler City - Wilma Crawford Silvers Covert, 81, of 110 East Sunview Drive died Wednesday, October 17, 2001 at Sun Bridge Care Facilities. A native of Buncombe County. Mrs. Covert was a daughter of the Late Bron Curtis and Flora Radcliff Crawford and the wife of the Late Raymond Silvers and the Late Henry Covert. She was a member of Brookdale Baptist Church in Siler City. Surviving are her son, Robert Bob Watts of Siler City; step sons, Joe Covert and Harlin Covert both of Kerrville, Texas and Curt Covert of Lubbock, Texas; Step daughter, Hazel Foltyn of El Campo, Texas; Sisters, Hazel Romine and Evelyn Brendle of Asheville and Mary Folk of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, Diana Meacham of High Point, Brad Watts of Siler City, James Liner and Rebecca Sherriff both of Atlanta, Georgia and several great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Ballard officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
