William Wallace Stewart

Leicester – William Wallace Stewart, 68, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was the son of Lillian Roberts Stewart and the late Jack Stewart. Mr. Stewart was a member and former deacon of Skyland First Baptist Church. He was a loving grandfather, an incredible musician, and talented woodworker. He was always available to help anyone in need and deeply cared for his family and church family. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Deborah Eileen Honeycutt Stewart; daughter, Cynthia Eileen Stewart; grandchildren: Alexis Eileen Lipe, and Anthony Rivers Pressley Lipe; and sisters: Ronda Jean Hawk, and Janet Marie Blair. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, December 4, 2021, in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1 till 2 PM prior to services at the funeral home.
