William Roy Smith

William Roy Smith, 59, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at his residence.

A native of Raleigh, NC he had resided in Asheville since 1980 where he earned his degree in Political Science.

He is survived by his son, William Koski Smith of Miami, FL: his parents William Fred Smith and Nena Jaureguizar Smith of Denver, NC; his sister Sabrina Golden of Cornelius, NC; his sister Belinda Peacock of Raleigh, NC.

William aka Billy readily shared his faith and love for Jesus.

William was a hard worker and enjoyed serving his community.
