William Floyd Clark

Asheville – William Floyd Clark, 83, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Floyd Jay Clark and Helen Ray Clark. He was also preceded in death by his wife Christine Clark who passed away on March 24, 2016; and sister, Marie Whitaker. Mr. Clark retired from Eaton Corporation and the Riceville Volunteer Fire Department, and was a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church. Surviving are his brother, Jack Clark (Wanda) of Asheville; children: Cynthia Rand, Danny Clark, and Heidi Clark all of Asheville; grandchildren: AshleyRose Sullivan (Scott), Ayla Christine Rand (Hadara Goldsmith), Isabella Joy Clark, and Adam Robert Drum; many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1056 Riceville Rd, Asheville, NC 28805, with Rev. Dr. Ralph Sexton, Jr. and Rev.
