Asheville – William Floyd Clark, 83, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Floyd Jay Clark and Helen Ray Clark. He was also preceded in death by his wife Christine Clark who passed away on March 24, 2016; and sister, Marie Whitaker. Mr. Clark retired from Eaton Corporation and the Riceville Volunteer Fire Department, and was a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church. Surviving are his brother, Jack Clark (Wanda) of Asheville; children: Cynthia Rand, Danny Clark, and Heidi Clark all of Asheville; grandchildren: AshleyRose Sullivan (Scott), Ayla Christine Rand (Hadara Goldsmith), Isabella Joy Clark, and Adam Robert Drum; many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1056 Riceville Rd, Asheville, NC 28805, with Rev. Dr. Ralph Sexton, Jr. and Rev. Allen Rash officiating. Masks and social distancing will be required. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to: Hearts with Hands, P.O.
