Wanda C. Robinson

Wanda C. Robinson, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the CarePartners Solace Center.

 A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Winston Walsh Cassada and Lorena Maria McCall Cassada. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Hazel Penland; brothers: Garland Cassada, and Donald Cassada.

 Wanda was a longtime member of Highland Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and especially loved spending time in her flower gardening. She was known for her green thumb, able to grow the most beautiful garden. She also enjoyed bird watching with her husband and loved all animals. She will be greatly missed.

 Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 59 years, Jerry Lee Robinson; sons: Darrin Robinson and wife Laura, and Chad Robinson and wife Kristie; grandchildren: Cassie De Los Angeles and husband Carlos, Brady Robinson, Riley Robinson, Alex Cavallarin, Mirco Cavallarin, Patrick Cavallarin and wife Karla, and Sarah Cavallarin; sister, Vivian Cassada Mitchell; sister-in-law, Betty Cassada; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

 Memorial graveside services will be held at 12 PM on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Highland Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ronald McMahan officiating. 

 The family will receive friends from 10 till 11 AM on Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org
