Candler Wade Alan Cole, Jr., 58, of 15 Cole Mann Drive, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospital. A native of Newport, RI, he had resided in Buncombe County most of his life. He retired from the City of Asheville where he was employed at the City Garage and was a 1974 graduate of Asheville High School. He loved music and formerly played drums with a local band. Wade was the son of the late Wade Alan Cole, Sr. and Frances Pettit Cole. Surviving are his daughters, Meredith Cole and Lauren Cole both of the home; son, David Cole of the home; grandsons, Dylan Cable and Oakley Williams both of the home; sister, Brandie Hunter of Alpharetta, GA; nephew, Bradley Hunter; niece, Shannon Hunter and a number of cousins. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Bethesda Baptist Church, 590 Pisgah Highway, Candler with Rev. Dean Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to: Bethesda Baptist Church, P.O.
