Virginia Eller Mcguire

Weaverville - Virginia Eller McGuire went to be with the Lord on Saturday June 29, 2002 in an Asheville Hospital. A life long resident of Buncombe County, she was born on August 2, 1923 and was an active member of Refuge Christian Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bascombe C. and Jessie M. Eller of Weaverville and one brother, Paul T. Eller. She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Walter M McGuire; one daughter, Jeanette M. Jackson and husband, George of grand Bay, Al; one son, Rev. Michael T. McGuire and wife, Brenda of Weaverville; six grandchildren, Timothy Burchette and wife Charlene of Mars Hill, NC, Alan Young and wife, Julie of Canton, NC, Melissa Johnson and husband, James of Grand Bay, AL, Wesley P. Young of Vancleave, MS, Brandon M and Amanda B. McGuire of Weaverville, NC and ten great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Troy Rogers officiating. Burial will be in the family plot on Longs Chapel Road in Weaverville. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
