Virginia Belle Morgan Gregg

Virginia Belle Morgan Gregg, 99, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at the Universal Health Care of Fletcher. A native of Mecklenburg County, she had resided in Buncombe County for most of her life. She retired from CP Claire Company and was a member of Biltmore Baptist Church. Mrs. Gregg was the daughter of the late Charles E. Morgan and Virginia Belle Yarborough Morgan and wife of Carl Ernest Gregg who died in 1980. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Darrell Franks who died in 2002 and her 6 brothers. Surviving are her daughter, Rita Franks of Fletcher; grandsons, David Franks (Mandi) of Hendersonville and Derek Franks of Dallas, TX and great granddaughter, Amanda Franks of Colorado Springs, CO. Graveside services will be at 11 AM Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Green Hills Cemetery with Rev. Sam McLamb officiating. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Universal Health Care for their exceptional care.
