Virginia B. Mcdaris

December 30, 1930 — March 21, 2018

Asheville Virginia Lou Black McDaris, 87, of 6 Concord Knoll Lane, went to be with her Lord and family on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. A native and resident most of her life of Buncombe County, she was a member of Trinity of Fairview where she proudly sung in the church choir. She was the daughter of the late Walter Ed Black and Pandora Burlison Black Smith and the wife of Henry Harold McDaris who died June 2, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her two sons. Surviving are her daughters, Jennifer McDaris of Asheville and Cindy Gibson and husband Steve of Fletcher; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons. Memorial services will be held at 5 PM Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Trinity of Fairview on Concord Road with Rev. Stacey Harris officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following services at the church.
