Violet Sheppard

Alexander – Violet Irene Palmer Sheppard, 90, of 9 Cloverfield Drive, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 4, 2022 at her residence. A native of Plymouth, Indiana, she had resided in Buncombe County most of her life. She was a daughter of the late Charles and Mabel Boyer Palmer and was also preceded in death by her husband, Thad Charles Sheppard; children, Charles Michael Sheppard, Cecil Sheppard and Sandra Tolley and several siblings including her sister, Dorothy Skelton. Surviving are her daughter, Pam Sheppard Tochterman and husband Bryan with whom she made her home; grandchildren, Kimberly, Ashley, Amber, Bryan, Jr., Jesse, Colby, Emileo, Anita, Gene, Luke, Becky, Sarina & Salina; numerous great and great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Green Hills Cemetery with Pastor Rolf Woodard officiating. Pallbearers will be Collin Ellis, Jesse Tochterman, Colby Tochterman, Gene Tolly, Jr., Dale McCoy and Brenlan Dawkins. The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 PM Wednesday, prior to services at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
