Victor Rice

Candler - Victor Allen Rice, 66, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he retired from Silver Masonary after 38 years of service. He was the son of the late Victor and Elsie Caldwell Rice. Mr. Rice is survived by his wife, Marie Rice of the home; son, Charles Ray Rice of Candler; daughter, Vickie Mask and husband Dean of Candler; grandchildren, Amanda and Micheal Rogers and Emily and Nathan Barnes; and 3 great grandchildren; brother, Floyd Rice of Candler and sisters, Mildred Connor and Joann Evans both of Candler. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Monday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Hartman officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
