Vennie Russell

Vennie Holder Russell, 95, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Aston Park Health Care. Vennie was the daughter of the late Douglas and Ina Sawyer Holder. She was also preceded in death by her husband Walter James Russell, sisters, Juanita Ingle, Geraldine Davis, Allie Lawing and Nyles Trexler; brothers, Ira Holder, Winford Holder and Portor Holder and great-great grandson, Matthew Bobby Russell Kyle. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. Surviving are her son, Bobby Russell; granddaughters: Kathleen Russell and Elizabeth Russell; grandsons; Mark Russell, Shawn Russell, Scott Russell and Christopher Russell; great-grandchildren, Tiffany Kyle, Heather Bassett, Keisha Manseau, Sarah Armstrong, Nakitta L. Manseau, Joy Shock, Steven Russell, Travis Russell, James Russell and Charlize Russell; great-great grandchildren, Kevin William Scott Kyle, Cameron Matthew Lucas Kyle and Bailey Gene Manseau; sister, Lyla Vess and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services and burial will be held 2 PM Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 PM Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
