"Tommy" Wallace

Asheville - George Thomas Tommy Wallace, 52, of 400 Landis Court Apt H. died Tuesday April 24, 2007 at Memorial Mission Hospital following a period of declining health. A native and life long resident of Buncombe County, he was a member and deacon at Asheville Free Will Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Asheville Odd Fellows Lodge # 412. He was a son of the late Alvia and Geneva Buckner Wallace. Surviving are his wife, Vickie Lynn Embler Wallace of the home; brother, Curtis Andy Wallace and wife Betsy of Spartanburg, SC and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Pastors Jeff Rhew, T.A. Holder, Jr. and David Gentry officiating.
