Tina M. Gunter

Leicester – Tina Michelle Miles Gunter, 52, of 52 Parham Road, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at her residence. A native of Haywood County, she had resided in Buncombe County for most of her life. Mrs. Gunter was employed with AVL Technology for the past 15 years of which she was the recipient of the 2019 Employee of the Year Award. She was an avid blood donor, having donated over six gallons. She was a daughter of the late Harvey Lee Miles and Kona Jean Barnwell Miles. Surviving are her husband, Michael Eugene “Mike” Gunter, whom she married April 18, 1992; step daughters, Selena Gunter, Brandy Maynor and Carrie Gunter; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Sheila Leonard; brothers, George Miles and wife, Elizabeth and Kenneth Lee Miles; and nephews, Adam and John Walker and Benjiman Miles. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, December 28, 2019 in the chapel of the Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Rev. Ronald Dodson officiating.
