Tim Burnette

Marshall Timothy Keith Tim Burnette, 60, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at his residence. A native and resident of Madison County, Mr. Burnette retired as a shop supervisor from Hayes and Lunsford Electric, and was a lifelong member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Burnette loved to fish, enjoyed playing and listening to Bluegrass music, and had sang in numerous gospel groups in the past. He will be remembered as a loving son, husband, father, and Poppa. Mr. Burnette was the son of Ernest and Doris Rice Burnette. In addition to his parents, surviving are his wife of 40 years: Terri Ramsey Burnette; children: Timmy Burnette and wife Beth, Tiffany Payne and husband Anthony, and Tara Hyatt and husband Jason; loving Poppa to his grandchildren: Madeline, Emma, Carter, Macy, Lottie, Jax, and Shepard; grandmother, Ardath Rice; brothers: Gary Burnette and wife Donna, and Greg Burnette and wife Lisa; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Keith Watkins, Rev. Timmy Burnette, Rev. Jason Hyatt, and Mr. Cleve Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 PM Friday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the Burnette family.
