Thomas "Tommy" Garren

Asheville - Thomas Tommy Clarence Garren, 45, of 64 3rd St. died unexpectedly. A native of Canton, OH, he was employed as a painter with Brown Paint Co. and was a member of the Biltmore Holiness Temple. Mr. Garren was the son of Eugene R. Garren of Asheville and Elizabeth Rhew Thomas of Asheville. Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife Mary Baldwin and their son, Joshua Daniel Garren of the home; sisters, Sherry J. Lindsey and Pamela E. Gentile, both of Asheville; brothers, Robert Anthony Garren, David F. Garren and Eugene Garren all of Asheville and Gary Millard of Union City, NC and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Biltmore Holiness Temple with the Rev. G.A. McCurry and Bill LaMore officiating. burial will be at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
