Thomas Carey

Thomas Carey, 67, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at residence. A native of Southbridge, Mass, he had lived in Buncombe County for the last 15 years. He had retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. Thomas was a son of the late Thomas and Sarah Collings Carey. Surviving are his wife, Terri Carey, son, Sean Carey and wife, Staci, son, Jason Carey and wife, Barbara, granddaughter, Haley Colie. Funeral services and burial will be held 10 A.M. Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain with Pastor Dustin James officiating. Military honors will conducted by Shaw Air Force Base. The family will receive friends from Noon to 2 P.M. Tuesday at Seans home, 8 Oakcrest Drive, Asheville, NC 28806.
