Teresa Cordell Maynor

Asheville – Teresa Roberta Cordell Maynor, 60, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 13, 2022, at Mission Hospital. A native and resident most of her life of Buncombe County, she formerly worked at Frigidaire, and along with her husband were Owners and Operators of Maynor’s Tree Service, and was a longtime member for 32 years of Crossroads Church. She was the daughter of Geneva Roberta Gasperson Cordell of the home and the late Clarence Vernon Cordell, and was also preceded in death by her brother, Clarence Vernon Cordell, Jr. Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband of 20 years, Delton Maynor of the home; son, Michael Isaac Cordell of Asheville; daughter, Kylie Marie Phillips (James Waddell) of the home; step son, Aaron Phillips of Sylva; grandchildren, Tyler Lee Davis, Alyssa Marie Davis and Paislee Mae Cordell and brother, Gregory Cordell of Arden. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Friday, May 20, 2022, at Emmas Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Dr. J. Michael Brown and her husband, Delton Maynor officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Anders-Rice Funeral Home prior to the graveside services.
