Teresa Bane

November 13, 1946 — October 10, 2021

Frederick, MD - Teresa Anne Edwards King Bane, 74, of Frederick, Maryland, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 10, 2021. A native of Buncombe County, she was a loving and caring homemaker, with a talent for making everyone feel welcomed. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, games, music, and art. She was a daughter of the late Bernard Arte Edwards and Virginia Lorraine Robertson Edwards. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Glenn King; second husband, William Dewey Bane; and brothers, Donald Edwards and Bruce Edwards. Surviving are her son, Robert Logan (Ward) of Charleston, SC; and daughter, Janet Ferguson (Scott) of Brunswick, MD; granddaughter Brittany Pennington (Chris) of Columbiana, AL; great-grandchildren, Brody, Mila, and Maylee; brother Ronald Edwards of Lancaster, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM Monday, October 18, 2021 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Rev. Allen Rash officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 to 12:30 PM Monday prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
