Tanya Capps Mooring

Leicester – Tanya Capps Mooring, 64, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at her residence.

A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of Sarah Sue Roberson Capps and the late Edward “Ed” Paw Paw” Rollo Capps. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Victoria “Vickie Capps Twilley.

Tanya attended Trinity Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Sarah Sue Roberson Capps; children: Ashley Mooring and Blake Mooring; grandson, Tanner Mooring; sisters: Sharon Sheppard and Pam Capps Mickle; and by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

No services are planned at this time.
