Susie Alice Elliott

West Asheville - Susie Alice Laughter Elliott, 87, formerly of 56 Carrier Street died Friday, November 15, 2002 following a period of declining health. Mrs. Elliott was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She was the daughter of the late Lucius T. Laughter, Sr. and Jessie Mauck Laughter Wallin and the wife of Jacob Franklin Elliott who died September 5, 1998. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church where a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. Surviving are her son, Bill Elliott and wife, De Ann of Asheville; daughter, Mary Frances Hill and husband, Michael of Sebastian, Florida; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Private graveside services will be held Monday at Pisgah View Memorial Park with Anders-Rice Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
