Sue Hollar

Candler - Sue Marie Israel Hollar, 74, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mrs. Hollar was the daughter of the late Eugene and Daisy Bell Crook Israel. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Larry Horace Hollar; and infant son, Larry Dean Hollar. Surviving are her sons: Robert Hollar and wife Kimberly and Norman Hollar and wife Ginger; grandchildren: Travis, Austin and Hayden; and sister, Barbara Pressley. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tommy Crowe and Rev. Leslie Hines officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
