Stewart Lonnie Greene

Alexander - Stewart Lonnie Greene, 57, of 421 Cedar Hill Road, died Saturday February 9, 2008 at his residence after an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a former resident of Elderberry Health Care Center and attended Cedar Hill Baptist Church. He was the son of Edith Rash Greene of Alexander and the late Lester Richard Greene. Surviving in addition to his mother are his sisters, Elaine Riddle of Weaverville and Lisa Harris of Alexander and nephew Jason Riddle of Durham. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday at Cedar Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Roy McPeters and Harold Rash officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
