Stephen Lee "Steve" Maynard

Asheville - Stephen Lee Steve Maynard, 47, of 20 Kenwood Avenue died Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at St. Josephs Hospital. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County. He retired in 1997 after 15 years of service with the City of Asheville water Department where at the time of his retirement he served as a Supervisor. Mr. Maynard was a son of the late Carl Thomas Maynard and Betty Maynard Lamb. Surviving are his son, Ronnie L. Maynard of Asheville; grandchildren, Stephen Kenneth Maynard, Scottie Lee Maynard and Serena Marie Maynard all of Asheville; sisters, Karen Lee of Leicester and Ann Williams of Asheville; brothers, Danny Maynard and Ronnie R. Maynard both of Asheville; 10 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 4 PM Monday in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Harry J.
