Stephanie H. Mumby

Asheville - Stephanie Rose Holubetz Mumby, 78, of 35 Webb Cove Road died Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at Aston Park Health Care Center following a period of declining health. A native of Amsterdam, N.Y. Mrs. Mumby has resided in Asheville since 1987. She was a daughter of the late John and Victoria Domitz Holubetz and the wife of Alvin Lloyd Mumby who died in 1982. Surviving are her daughter, Judy Ann Frank with whom she made her home; grandchildren, Kristin Baxter, Rachel Massey and husband, Roger, Jason Frank and wife, Connie and Adam Frank all of Asheville; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Anne Judge of Rochester, N.Y. and brother, Stanley Holubetz of Johnstown, N.Y. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mountain Area Hospice, P.O.
