Shirley Bryant Boyle

Shirley Ann Bryant Boyle, 65, of 100 Cheerio Lane Apt B40 died Tuesday June 27, 2006 at the Universal Health Care Center after an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a member of Union Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Handy and Laura Trantham Bryant and was also preceded in death by a brother, Lawson Bryant and 4 sisters, Phibie Hill, Edith Clark, Alga Harris and Blanche Parham. Surviving are her son, Bobby Cox of Asheville; grandson, Christopher Cox of Asheville; granddaughter, Lorin Cox of Asheville; sisters, Mae Liberatore of Asheville, Eula Dee Surrett of Leicester, Ruby Fender of Sharon, SC and Louise Capps of Weaverville and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Bill Brown, James Bryant and Harold Cable officiating. Burial will be in the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to: Mt.
