Sherry Jean Solock

Sherry Brown Solock, 64, passed away suddenly on November 25, 2013. Sherry lived in Arden, NC where she was an Administrator at a Nursing Home. Sherry has been an RN for over 40 years and was a past Administrator at several Nursing Homes, including one in South Carolina, Savannah, Ga., and Lafayette, Ga. She was born and raised in Cartersville, Ga. where she lived most of her life. She is survived by her children: Brandelyn Jean Hall Smith and her husband Lee Smith, and a granddaughter, Farrah Smith, age 3, Bridgette Carol Hall Murphree and husband J. J. Murphree; son, George Willis Hall, Jr. She is also survived by a sister, Carol Brown Payne and husband Charles Payne; George Willis Hall, father of her three children, and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at Anders-Rice Funeral Home in Asheville, North Carolina on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 3 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2-3 PM. Sherry will be cremated and brought back to Lafayette, Ga. at a later date. Flowers are optional or a donation can be made to a charity of your choice in her name. She was a loving mother and sister and our lives will never be the same without her.
