Sherrie Wilson

Asheville - Sherrie Ruth Robinson Wilson, 68, of 151 Reed Street, went to be with the Lord Monday, November 7, 2022.

Mrs. Wilson was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County and a daughter of the late James Millard Robinson and Ruth Emily Bishop Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Lloyd James “Hoppy” Vardiman.

She was formerly employed with the old Goose Creek Manufacturing Company.

Surviving is her daughter, Angela Marie Wilson of Asheville; sister, Marjorie Mae Wells of Candler; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial graveside services will be held 1pm Monday, November 14, 2022, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. John Honeycutt officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon to 12:45pm prior to the services Monday at the Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
