Sheila Mae Yates

Fairview – Sheila Mae Yates, 57, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at her residence while surrounded by her family.

Sheila was born on July 14, 1965, in Asheville to Clifford and Cornelia Ann Hall Yates. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Tracie Mae King; and brothers: Clifford and Dan Yates.

Those left to cherish her memory are her lifelong companion and best-friend, Douglas Gragg; children: David King, Jr., Jessica King, Miranda Pierce, and Aaron Roth; grandchildren: Caiden Reynolds, Aubree Reynolds, and Taylor King; sisters: Kim Brewer, and Cindy Wright; and several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at Green Hills Cemetery with Rev. Terry Banks officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 1:45 PM Friday at the funeral home.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of CarePartners Hospice for all their loving care shown to Sheila.
