Sharon A. Pihlblad

Candler – Sharon A. Pihlblad, 50, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Myrtle Beach, SC. She was a native of Norristown, PA and was the daughter of Ernest Lorenzen and the late Jane Kroehler Lorenzen. In her younger days, Sharon enjoyed riding and training horses. She later worked for many years as a nurse. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Surviving in addition to her father are her partner, Tony Craig of Candler; children: Aylssa and Jeffery; brother, Michael Lorenzen of California; Avyah, who was a very special niece that she was raising as a daughter and loved very much, and many extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 51 Wilburn Pl, Asheville, NC 28806. A meal will follow for family and friends at the church, and burial will then follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10 till 11 AM Saturday at the church.
