She was an avid NY Yankees and Dallas Cowboys fan, loved to camp and fish, lived to shop, and her passion was southern cooking and canning. As per her wishes, Savannah did not wish to have a visitation. In her words, If they didnt get to see me alive, boy, did they miss something! Her quick wit and enormous sense of humor will be greatly missed. It was found written in her journal, and we felt let to place it in her obituary: Happiness is simple; help anyone you can and love one another. And always, always be kind you never know the burdens someone bears. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made on her behalf to a local dog rescue she fully supported: Boxer Butts and Other Mutts, 108 Schermerhorn Lane, Arden, NC 28704.
