Sandra Dawn Sanders

Asheville Sandra Dawn Sanders, 37, of 165 South French Broad Avenue, passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Ft. Hood, TX, Sandra had resided in Buncombe County since 1983. She had worked many years in the child care field, and was a member of Balfour United Methodist Church in Hendersonville. She loved arts and crafts, the outdoors, and had a great and deep care for other people. Sandra was the daughter of Patricia Anders Sanders and Bill Sanders and wife Dorothy. She was preceded in death by her brother, Harley Anthony Sanders. In addition to her parents, surviving are her brothers: Allan Sanders, David Sanders, Randy Sanders, and Daniel Jenkins; sister, Kim Rogers; paternal grandmother, Ollie Sanders; special friends, Pam and Rodgey Hensley; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Balfour United Methodist Church in Hendersonville.
