Ruby Frances Frisbee

Asheville - Ruby Frances Cassada Frisbee, formerly of the Asheville Terrace Apartments, died Friday November 1, 2002 at Fleshers Fairview Health Care Center. A native and resident of Buncombe County for most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Mrs. Frisbee was a daughter of the late Frank Gaston Cassada and Decia Parham Cassada and the wife of Paul Thomas Frisbee who died January 21, 1992. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Russell, Howard and Herman Cassada and sister, Pearl Gosnell. Surviving are her daughter, Betty G. Banks and husband, Tracy of Yuma, Arizona; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Funderburk officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church, 1468 Jenkins Valley Road, Alexander, N.C. 28701.
