Ruby B. Little

Asheville - Ruby Elizabeth Beachum Little, 85, died Wednesday September 19, 2007 at the John F. Keever Jr. Solace Center. A native of Anson County, she had resided in Buncombe County since 1953 and was a member of Bent Creek Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Nezer H. and Sadie Hildreth Beachum and the wife of the late Roy F. Little. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Bobby Wells Beachum and Arvle Beachum. Surviving are her sons, Douglas Fletcher Little and wife Donna Payne Little of Candler and Victor Dean Little and wife Paula Melton Little of Monroe; grandchildren; Sarah Little of Candler, Amber L. Austin of Shelby and Adam F. Little of Monroe; sister, Lillian Kanipe of Myrtle Beach, SC; brothers, George Beachum, N. W. Sonny Beachum and Terry Beachum all of Ansonville and Gene Beachum of Manning SC and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Bridges officiating. Entombment will be in Pisgah View Memorial Park.
