Roy Eugene Haun

August 3, 1934 — August 2, 2022

Canton – Roy Eugene Haun, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Topeka, Kansas, he was a son of the late Mose Alvedor Haun and Nora Rose Hessler Haun. He was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Mr. Haun was a U.S. Army Veteran. He and his wife, Deloris, owned and operated Del-Roy Plumbing and Remodeling for over 20 years. In addition to his love of plumbing and carpentry, he enjoyed raising farm animals. He was a member of Harvest Time Church of Asheville. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Deloris Huffman Haun and daughter, Angelia Renee’ Haun. Mr. Haun’s cremated remains will be interred at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. No services are planned at this time.
