Rosa Lee Toffton

FAIRVIEW - Rosa Lee Bass Toffton, 75, of 410 Old Fort Road died Monday, December 24, 2001 at her home. A native and resident most of life of Nash County, she had resided in Buncombe County since 1988. Mrs. Toffton was the daughter of the late Albert Charles Bass and Serina Coley Bass and wife of Howard William Toffton who died in 1990. Surviving are her daughter, Cheryl Ann Brown and husband, Neal with whom she made her home; son, Richard Ricky Howard Toffton and wife, Elizabeth Kay of Nashville, N.C.; brother, Bill Bass of Arizona; five grandchildren; one great grandson. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of the Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Harris officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will be at the home of the daughter, Cheryl Ann Brown, 410 Old Fort Road, Fairview, N.C.
