Ronda Daves Griffin

Asheville – Ronda Daves Griffin, 63, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Memorial Mission Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. A native and lifelong resident of Asheville, she was a daughter of Bobby Daves and the late Martha Jean Lancaster. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Roberson, and brother, Darryl Daves. Ronda loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was involved with the community youth league coaching softball and cheerleading. She was also a JV Cheerleading Coach at Erwin High School from 2000 – 2001. She will be missed by all who knew her. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 39 years, Phil Griffin; father, Bobby Daves; daughters: Brandi Hensley and wife Misty, and Whittni Griffin and husband Jeff Wolfe, Jr.; beloved grandchildren: Sammi Wolfe, and Mason Wolfe; brother, Johnny Daves; niece, Crystal Sue Daves; and many extended family and friends. A time of celebration of Ronda’s life will be held from 6:00 till 8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
