Ronald Laroy Burgess

Asheville - Ronald LaRoy Burgess, 70, of Asheville, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at the Charles George VA Medical Center. A native of Hamilton County, OH, he had resided for the past five years in Buncombe County. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Burgess was the son of the late Neaba Elbert and Dorothy Frances Jackson Burgess. Surviving are his children: Pamela Burgess, Cynthia Spaulding, and Robin Burgess. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Friday in the chapel of the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, with the Pastor Donnie Walker officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Buncombe County Veterans Council Memorial Team. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the Burgess family.
