Ronald Allen, Sr

Weaverville – Ronald Hubert Allen, Sr, 80, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he worked for the NC Department of Transportation, and was the son of the late Hubert Lonnie Allen and Geneva Ruth Riddle Allen. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Cheoah Beall. Surviving are his daughter, Vicki Allen McMinn (Mark) of Fletcher; sons, Ronald “Ronnie” Hubert Allen, Jr (John) of Marshall and Shannon Allen (Kelly) of Candler; grandson, Tristan Robinson of Marshall; granddaughter, Samantha Younce of Candler and nephews, Richard, Tommy, Rusty and Nathaniel Beall all of Mars Hill. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Monday, October 25, 2021 at Green Hills Cemetery, with Rev. Stephen Israel officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 2:45 PM Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
