Roger Lee Walker

Asheville Roger Lee Walker, 41, of Granada Street, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center following a brief illness. A native of Buncombe County, Mr. Walker worked in the Deli department of Ingles Grocery. He was the son of Mary Burnette Walker of Asheville, and the late Arthur Walker. In addition to his mother, surviving are his aunts: Sheila Higgins, Freeda Parker, Trudy Collins, Carol Bonham, and Lottie Franklin; and numerous cousins. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the Walker family.
