Robert Willard Hill

Asheville - Robert Willard Hill, 64, of 437 Onteora Blvd. died Wednesday January 23, 2002 at his home following a period of declining health. A lifelong resident of Buncombe country, he was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Fairview. He was a volunteer with the Asheville V.A. Medical Center with over 2500 hours of service and with Meals on Wheels. He was the son of Wilma Sue Chappell Hill of Asheville and the late Willard A. Hill. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Inez Moses Hill of the home and several cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Ponder officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
