Robert Wayne Penley

Leicester – Robert Wayne Penley, 82, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Penley was born on March 16, 1940, in Asheville to Landrith Gerald Penley and Lucille Lewis Penley. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Wilma Jean Penley; and brother, Kenneth Penley.

Surviving are his sons: Roger Penley (Angela), and Bobby Penley (Nick); sister, Ann Dellinger; brother, Ernie Penley (Sarah), and nieces and nephews: Emily, Andy, Paul, and Kate.

A celebration to celebrate Robert Penley’s life will be held from 6 till 8 PM on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
