Robert Lee Wilson

Asheville - Robert Lee Wilson, 58, died Sunday February 12, 2012 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock. A native and resident of Buncombe County for most of his life, he was the son of Lona Kathleen Austin Edwards of Asheville and the late Robert Earl Wilson. Surviving in addition to his mother are his special friend, Barbara Sanders of Georgia; son, Robert Scott Wilson and partner Joe North of Crestview, FL; daughter, Jamie Lee Prue and husband Robert of Flat Rock; step son, Mark Bradley Sprouse of Waynesville; sisters, Opal Wilson and husband Marlin of Fletcher and Lois Grant of Oakley; granddaughters, Kailey Hodges, Alainey Krause and Jennie Prue; special nephew, David Hamlin and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Rash officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before services at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Lewis Memorial Park.
