Robert Lee Mullen

Robert Lee Mullen, 59, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Donna Ruth Nottingham Mullen. He was also preceded in death by his aunt, who was like a mother, Janice Nottingham. Robert performed many jobs through out his life and was know as a Jack of all trades. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he was the Sunday School President and a Ward Missionary. Surviving are his sister, Becky Mazzi and husband Michael of Waynesville, OH; brother, Larry Mullen of Asheville; niece, Melissa Mullen; nephew, Steven Mazzi; and a large extended family. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, August 29, 2015, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Weaverville. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:30 11:30 AM Saturday at the church.
