Robert Eugene Angell

Asheville - Robert Eugene Angell, 73, of 500 Beaverdam Road, died Sunday March 9, 2003 at Memorial Mission Hospital after an extended illness. A native of Denver Colorado, he had resided in Buncombe County for the past 33 years. He retired from the U.S. Army having served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars and also retired from St. Josephs Hospital. He was a son of the later Kermit and Goldie Dilley Angell. Surviving are his wife Christine Ester Moffitt Angell of Asheville; brother, Jack Angell of Chino Valley, Arizona ; sister, June Ferebee of Cornville, Arizona and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Wright officiating. Burial will be in Cherry Springs Memorial Park in Old Fort. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
