Ricky Shook

Leicester – Ricky Shook, 57, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 5, 2021. A native of Suffolk, VA he resided in Buncombe County most of his life. He was a son of the late Wilburn William Shook and Barbara Ann Redmon Shook. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Wilburn Carter Shook. Ricky’s greatest joy was his grand babies. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Michelle Evett Shook; children: Alisha Shook, Natasha Shook, Joshua Shook and wife Julie, and Isaiah Shook; grandchildren: Faith, Layla, Emily, Lilly, and Grayson; sister, Freda Shook; brothers: Robert “Chuck” Shook and wife Lorna, and Edgebert Shook; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at Antioch Baptist Church, 4525 Rector Corner Rd, Marshall, NC 28753, with Rev. Dewayne Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 till 8 PM Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
