Richard Edwards

Candler Dennis Richard Edwards, II, 26, of 11 Sagefield Drive, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was an Auto Body Technician at Cars Best Friend, attended Enka High School and was an avid Chevrolet car lover. Richard was the son of Dennis Richard Edwards and Glenda Rebecca Forester Boggs. Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Karla Marie Edwards of the home; mother-in-law, Sharon Wilson of Candler; step-father, David Boggs of Leicester; paternal grandparents, Homer Gene Edwards and Doris Edwards of Asheville; maternal grandfather, Buckley Forester and wife Linda of Marion; maternal grandmother, Nancy Forester of Asheville; several aunts, uncles, cousins and best friends, Brandon Clontz and wife Melody of Candler. A celebration of his life will be held 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, May 14, 2013 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Camacho officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:15 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. A Video Tribute will be available for a limited time.
