Regina Cook Brown

North Augusta, S.C. - Regina Cook Brown, 80, of 311 West Spring Grove Avenue died Saturday, December 1, 2001 at her residence. A native of Graham County. She had resided in Buncombe County most of her life prior to moving to North Augusta in 1992. She retired in 1992 from T&C Laundromat.. She was a member of First Baptist Church in North Augusta, S.C. and a member of the Shefield Club. While living in Asheville, she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late Riley Jackson Cook and Ida Moody Cook and wife of the late Calvin Oak Brown. Surviving are her daughter, Judy Brown of North Augusta, 2 sisters in law, a brother in law and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Buddy Corbin and Rev. Don Welborn officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church North Augusta, Building Fund, 625 Georgia Ave., N. Augusta, S.C. 29841 or Calvary Baptist Church, Building Fund, 531 Haywood Road, Asheville, N.C. 28806.
