Candler - Randal Garfield Lawrence (Tadpole son of a Frog), 56, of 29 Dogwood Ridge Road went to be with the Lord and his family July 25, 2008. Randal was born in Iredell County, August 13, 1951 to the lateRobert Garfield Lawrence (Frog) and Maxine Deal Lawrence. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Rodney Lawrence. He worked as a Motor Grader Operator and helped form Frogs Paving Company in the early 80s. He loved the outdoors especially fishing and camping. Surviving are his son, William G. Lawrence, devoted daughter, Cynthia E. Lawrence, devoted sister, Gail Lawrence Evans and husband Larry, sister-in-law, Barbara Lawrence, 6 grandchildren, 3 nephews and 3 nieces. My brother was a person who spent his entire life giving love and kindness to all of Gods creatures, men. women and animals alike. He could not bear to hurt someones feelings or for anyone to have hard feelings towards him. His joy and laughter will always be embedded in the hearts of those that knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Ingle officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah View Memorial Park with William Lawrence, D.J. and Danny McClure, Roger Plemmons, Nathan and Cliff Ingle serving as pallbearers. Following graveside services friends and family are invited to Tadpoles home for celebrating memories of his life. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. The family wishes a special thanks to all the nurses, doctors, caregivers and Hospice for their wonderful care and friendship.
